If your poultry have a highly pathogenic strain of avian flu, they will likely be slaughtered
The USDA will provide some financial compensation per killed bird and for destroyed property
The sooner you contact the USDA, the more financial compensation you will receive and the sooner you can rebuild your farm.
After an avian flu
outbreak, the USDA will provide financial aid and thorough instruction for farm clean up. After 14 days your farm will be tested for the avian flu virus, if it is clear you can begin to restock
your farm.
